Cause If you use scripting to change a Material that would cause it to use a different variant of the Standard Shader. By the end of this course you should feel comfortable importing and using textures and materials in a physically based environment. There're similiar things you can do using Unity Pro to render a camera's view to a texture using Render Textures, and then using a projector to show the result on a plane, but I can't really think of a good solution for the free version. Create a new material and assign the Nature/Terrain/Bumped Specular shader to it. One of my favorites so far is Render Textures.
